  • Tumble dry

    • Set to low heat or delicate cycle for 10–15 minutes.

    • This removes shipping wrinkles and helps reactivate the DWR (water-repellent) finish.

    • Let it cool and fully air out before wearing or storing.

Daily Cleaning, Maintenance, and Storage for Jackets

  1. Frequency:
Only clean when necessary, typically 1–2 times per year. After intense outdoor activity, increase cleaning as needed. Improper cleaning can reduce a jacket’s lifespan.

  2. Before Cleaning:
Use a professional detergent and a soft-bristled brush made for technical jackets. Close all zippers and Velcro tabs, and loosen drawcords.

  3. Washing:
Lay the jacket flat in a basin and wet the soiled areas with water no hotter than 40°C (104°F).
For localized stains, dip a sponge or soft brush in a professional cleaner or neutral detergent (no softeners). Gently scrub and rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.

  4. Drying:
Do not wring. Lay the jacket flat, zip all closures, and air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight or high-heat ironing.
